Why not bring your herbs indoors....

If you are bracing for winter like I am nothing beats greenery indoors.  Looking outside during the wintertime and all you see is dreary white, it lifts my soul to bring in all my herbs and see their cherry green leaves in the window stills.  Also who can beat cooking in the kitchen and grabbing some fresh herbs or making a lovely herbal tea mmm mmm good.
From left to right, bay plant, tea plant and my all time favorite lemon verbena wonderful for a delicious tea.

I couldn't resist posting a pic of my peace lily  so majestic, simple and elegant.  They don't ask for much and they bloom and bloom, I love them.

  1. I'm going to have to do just this very thing in the coming days, since it's becoming too darn cold for my little plants! I actually just posted today about my new rosemary, Governor Lamb Chop (lol)!

  2. Great photos! I'd do that if it wasn't for the fact that my darn cats eat all my plants if they are indoors!

  3. I thought that too Frogbag as I have 3 cats and yes they do like to chew, eat and dig! For some reason I guess maybe because the herbs are scented and tasty they leave them alone.
